Encrypted Private Notes App | WriterPro Privacy

A writing tool can be quiet on the screen and still loud with your data. WriterPro encrypts notes at rest and syncs them privately to your account so drafts stay yours — not ad inventory, not analytics fodder, and not free fuel for someone else’s model.

What “private” means here

Privacy is a feature of the product, not a marketing footer.

Why writers need this

Drafts include half-formed opinions, personal stories, client work, and strategy. A minimal writing tool should reduce UI noise and reduce surveillance noise.

Utility in practice:

  1. Honest first drafts — less self-censorship
  2. Client-safe notes — clearer boundary than a shared wiki by default
  3. Portable trust — pair with local markdown on Mac when files should never leave the machine
  4. Intentional publishing — private by default, public via publish flow

Encryption without ceremony

WriterPro is built for daily writing, not crypto cosplay. Decryption is part of normal use; you shouldn’t need a ritual to open yesterday’s note. (If you want maximum local control, use the macOS app’s plain .md files.)

Privacy + focus

Privacy and True Focus Mode are the same philosophy applied twice: remove what doesn’t belong to the sentence.
